Tip

Tunsten Carbide is secret to mastering trimming. This metal dulls very slowly long period of use, and can be easily re-sharpened in minutes. Tungsten is an exceptionally strong material that does does not vibrate or deflect like stainless steel. You will never go back to any other tool after this.

Why make the same boring handle that every trimming tool has. Your trimming tool should be as interesting as the person holding it.

I have made these in my studio with a handle that is made from non-pretroleum plant based plastic to reduce the items carbon foot print and reduce deforestment. The tips are able to be changed in the need of replacement

I sell these in two variations, the Pear and a Flat.
Both have their obvious advantages;

The Pear has been my go to do all trimming tool for the last couple of years, and if you were to only buy one tool for yourself this year. I would recommend this tool without even taking a breathe. It will genuinely change the way you approach trimming. This tool allowed me to work faster and trim thinner with confidence. It took 30 minute trimming jobs and reduced it 5-10 minutes. It is a must have tool.

The Flat is a tool that took time to master. Its uses appear obvious with its flat face in finishing plates and shaping cyclinders. But its ability lays in that narrow end, and right angles, giving you an ability to trim in the tight recesses with a surgical precision.

A fair warning on tunsten carbide, it is brittle. It does not enjoy being dropped, even from wheel height. The trimming tool will last for years, provided it doesn't take a short cut to the floor. I sell replacement tips, if this is your first time using tungsten then I recommend buying a spare tip. I broke my first one in a month, and my second one has lasted 2 years.
